One glance at the Honda Passport new TrailSport Series and you’ll be eager to hit the road less traveled. Driven by a rugged, aggressive exterior design, the 2022 Honda Passport TrailSport is ready to tackle your off-roading adventures.

“Some may not realize the true rugged, off-road capabilities of our light trucks,” said Dave Gardner, executive vice president of National Operations, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “Now they’re getting tough, rugged looks to match, and the addition of TrailSport will further enhance the off-road capability of our vehicles in the future.”

TrailSport trim features

The exterior of the Honda TrailSport features a new rear bumper equipped with larger dual exhaust finishers, new-machined 18-inch wheels with highlights in Pewter, orange TrailSport badges on the tailgate and grille, and a maximum ground clearance of 8.1 inches.

Orange contrast stitching makes an appearance in the cabin on the steering wheel, door panels, and seats. The front seat headrests feature an embroidered TrailSport logo, which is also displayed on the all-season rubber floor mats. The door tray, cupholders, overhead console, footwells, and door handle pocket illuminate with ambient lighting when the sun goes down.

Under the hood of the 2022 Passport pumps the heart of a 3.5-liter V6 paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission engine rated at 280 horsepower.

Although the TrailSport trim is only available on the 2022 Passport right now, Honda plans to roll out a TrailSport trim on all of its light-duty truck models as well as the 2022 Pilot SUV lineup.
