Tips for Celebrating Halloween at Home in Vallejo, California

Tips for Celebrating Halloween at Home | Avery Greene Honda | Vallejo, CA

Trick-or-treating for Halloween this year seems more and more unlikely, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still celebrate in a family-friendly way. If you’re trying to think of how you can get down and spooky — or maybe start a new family tradition — then consider these tips for celebrating Halloween at home this year.

Build a haunted fort. There are few things more fun than building a fort, so why not build one with a Halloween twist? Get dressed up in your costumes, add spooky elements like fake cobwebs, skeletons, and LED candles, and gather under your haunted fort. You can watch a Halloween movie, play board games, or enjoy some sweet treats for some family bonding.

Have a craft party. If you take even a second to browse through Pinterest, you will find any number of crafts for your kids to enjoy this Halloween, no matter their ages. Have some spooky fun with crafts, creating monster puppets, carving pumpkins, and more.

Enjoy a Halloween scavenger hunt. Whether you’re trying to stay in your house or want something fun to do outside — while still socially distancing — a scavenger hunt is a great way to bring joy on the night the kids are meant to be trick-or-treating. Have them find seasonal items, like pumpkins, black cats, and more. You can find any number of already made scavenger hunts online.

New HondaLink® Driver Feedback System Helps Improve Driving Skills

HondaLink Driver Feedback | Avery Greene Honda | Vallejo, CA

Honda is looking to help you become a better driver during your long commute. The carmaker recently made the HondaLink® Driver Feedback System available through the HondaLink® app on your smartphone. This system will work to help keep track of your driving habits so you can work towards becoming a better driver.

After every drive, the Driver Feedback System will provide you with a Driving Score that rates on you on a number of factors. It looks at the distance you drove, your trip’s duration, your speed, any hard braking that occurred, and any hard accelerations. If your driving score is high, it means that your driving skills are solid.

The system also provides you with a weekly score card, which averages your scores for the week. This score card also comes with specific tips towards your driving habits, making suggestions on how to improve your driving ability.

The Driver Feedback System is available on certain Honda models that are currently or were previously enrolled in the Security, Remote, or Concierge package. These models include:

  • 2018 and newer Accord Touring
  • 2018 and newer Odyssey Touring
  • 2019 and newer Insight Touring
  • 2019 and newer Passport Touring
  • 2019 and newer Pilot Touring/Elite

To discover more about the Driver Feedback System — and to discover other Honda technologies — make sure you stop into Avery Greene Honda in Vallejo, California.
