The 2019 Honda Passport is the newest addition to the Honda SUV lineup, and it’s starting to make a name for itself. This midsize SUV was recently named an Autotrader Best New Car for 2019, one of only 12 new vehicles to earn this recognition.*
“The Passport is one of the few SUVs where the ‘sport’ and ‘utility’ totally and tangibly make sense in the same vehicle,” said Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader. “We like the Passport because of its rugged look and just the way it comes off like a younger, feistier version of the Honda Pilot.”
Autotrader’s editorial experts decided on the Passport as one of the winners by a unanimous vote. To be considered for this award, the vehicle much be a current or next model-year vehicle and available for purchase at the time of the awards announcement.
The Passport was recognized for its on-road driving refinement and off-road capabilities. It boasts an ample amount of interior space, making it a solid option for a wide range of consumers.
The 2019 Honda Passport was designed and developed by Honda R&D Americas. It is manufactured in the brand’s Lincoln, Alabama, assembly plant, along with the Ridgeline, three-row Pilot, and Odyssey minivan. To see the award-winning Passport in action, stop into Avery Greene Honda.
