We hope everyone’s been enjoying their summer as much as we have been here at Avery Greene Honda. We really hate to spoil the fun-in-the-sun mood by uttering that awful word “autumn,” but we want to ensure that our community is well taken-care-of before we have to start thinking of that even worse word, “winter.” While we don’t get the most wicked of winters here in California, who know where your travels may take you between October and May.To help you get ahead of the game, here are a few easy fall maintenance tips to follow so your wintertime passes by as smoothly as possible.
- Get an oil change.
This should be a regular practice for you, for any of your vehicles, but especially before the weather starts to turn worse.
- Replace air filters.
The summertime can kick up a lot of gross dust and debris that can negatively affect your engine output. Make sure your filters are fresh and clean. If you’re not sure, check in with our service experts at Avery Greene Honda.
- Check your battery life.
The average battery life lasts three to five years—how old is yours? Batteries tend to lose strength in the cold, so make sure you’ve confirmed that your battery is still healthy before the temperatures drop.
These few fall maintenance tips might just save you from being stuck in the snow this year. Be sure to give the Avery Greene Service Center a call if you have any questions.
