January has started the Honda sales year off on the right food. For the 2020 year, this automotive brand has managed to set a Honda truck sales record that is only expected to get better as Honda introduces the all-new 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid later this year.
“As we enter a new decade, we will continue to focus on our core values and maintain the kind of sales discipline that has made us a retail sales leader in the industry,” said Henio Arcangeli Jr., senior vice president of the American Honda Automobile Division. “The arrival of our new CR-V Hybrid next month will also bring new opportunities to further strengthen our light-truck lineup and extend our two-year streak of record electrified vehicle sales.”
When the CR-V Hybrid arrives, it will be the first electric vehicle in the Honda light-truck lineup. Its fuel-efficient powertrain will also be considered the most powerful powertrain option in the CR-V lineup, making it a solid option for those looking for an everyday driver. You will also still get the family-friendly features and ample interior space you have come to expect from the CR-V.
The Honda truck lineup saw many year-over-year sales increases in January. The HR-V posted a
24.8% increase, which is an all-time record for the model. The Ridgeline saw a significant sales increase of 57.1% for the month with 3,083 deliveries. In total, the Honda truck lineup had an overall increase of 2.3% in its year-over-year January sales.
